Date published: 1/16/2013 Kathryn L. Gonzalez Kathryn Lucille Gonzalez, 58, of Locust Grove completed her journey home to Jesus on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. She was a devout Christian and a faithful servant to God. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was always unwavering in her support of her children, grandchildren, nieces; nephews and siblings. She is survived by her husband, Gary Gonzalez of Paris, Va.; son John Leizear and fiancee Lara Guerra of Laurel, Md.; Rebecca Gonzalez of Fredericksburg; grandchildren Brooke and Kaitlyn Leizear, Christian Offer and Leilani Johnson; her mother and stepfather, Sue and Bill Pickard; brother Michael Manes; brother and sister-in-law John and Robin Manes; sister and brother-in-law Susan and Keith Clements; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother William Manes, and her father, James Manes. Kathryn's service will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 18, at Lake of the Woods Church, 1 Church Lane, Locust Grove, Va. 22508. A reception and light lunch will follow the service.
