Wayne C. Burton Sr., born July 5, 1947, in Frederickburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 11, 2013.
He was a longtime resident of Glen Burnie, Md.
He was the beloved husband of Sharon D. Burton and the loving father of Tamara Ziegler, Wayne C. Burton Jr. and his wife, Elaine, and Chad R. Burton and his wife, Brenda. He was the cherished pop of Skyler Ziegler and Casey and Savannah Burton. Wayne was the son-in-law of Harrietta Keeney. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Family members and friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Ambrose Funeral Home in Arbutus, Md., where a funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Interment will be private.
