Rankings of dubious distinction continue

Virginians must send congratulatory letters to its elected representatives as again one of our esteemed representatives has made news. The 112th Congress has been named "The Least Productive Congress Since 1940" and we have our own Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor to thank for contributing to this distinctive title. Without his truly stellar leadership and guidance this could have been the least productive representation of Virginians and the country since 1840.

This title continues the long list of dubious accomplishments for this state since the election in 2009 of Gov. Bob McDonnell and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.

What we appear to be looking forward to in the run for Virginia governor is a candidate, Cuccinelli, who has been instrumental in the abject failure of this state's protection for the personal freedoms of its residents. His potential election promises to continue this march from individual freedoms to continued social agenda politics while residents continue to be impacted by economic issues.
