Muriel Liming Fouts of Triangle died on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Sentara Potomac Hospital.
Muriel was preceded in death by her daughter Aldora Hohman; and grandson Ian Hohman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, William "Widge" R. Fouts; her two daughters, Donna Wheeler and her husband, James, and Barbara Rountrey and her husband, Eddie; four grandchildren, Jason Wheeler, Chris Wheeler, James Rountrey and Richard Murren; nine great-grandchildren, Dustin, Devin, Macy, TJ, Olivia, Elsa, Mackenzie, Louis and Owen; and one great-great-grandchild, Davyn.
Muriel was a charter member and Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Calvin A. Lloyd Chapter 81, as well as a charter member of the Potomac Hospital Auxiliary. She was a Red Cross volunteer, a Lady of the Moose and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, Va. 22193, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, with interment to follow at Dumfries Cemetery. A reception will follow at Triangle Baptist Church.
