Spotsylvania County Crime Solvers is seeking information on the following crimes:

Between 4 and 4:10 a.m. Jan. 11, a resident in the 10400 block of Aberdeen Court in Lee's Crossing was awakened by sounds in the hallway. He saw two unknown persons. They chased, caught and assaulted the victim, then left the home. One man is described as a white or Hispanic male, 6 feet tall, thin, wearing a black sleeveless shirt, black pants, black gloves, black ski mask. The other man is a black male, 6-feet-2 to 6-feet-4, medium build, wearing all black clothing, black gloves and a black ski mask. Nothing was missing. CFS 13-003799

Between 5 p.m. Jan. 8 and 9 a.m. Jan. 9, someone stole a black 2010 Jeep Cherokee SRT8 from the front parking lot of Shirlie G. Slack, 3475 Jefferson Davis Highway. It is valued at $38,000 and police are looking for a black male, 38 to 45 years old, 6 feet to 6-feet-2, thin beard, goatee, wearing reading glasses. CFS 13-003321

Between 11:33 and 11:45 p.m. Jan. 8, someone broke through a gate outside the service center and stole 80 new batteries from Walmart, 10001 Southpoint Parkway. Police are looking for a light color GMC/Chevrolet pickup. Value of the batteries is $3,900. CFS 13-005013

Between 5 p.m. Jan. 12 and 5 p.m. Jan. 13, someone stole $205 from an unlocked white 2008 Ford F-150 parked in a driveway in the 12800 block of Plantation Drive in Lake Wilderness. CFS 13-004717

Between 4 p.m. Jan. 12 and 8 a.m. Jan. 13, someone entered an unlocked gray 1999 Nissan sedan in the 12600 block of Plantation Drive in Lake Wilderness and stole two gift cards from inside a purse. One gift card has $300 credit and the other has $10. CFS 13-004588

Between 8:30 and 10:40 p.m. Jan. 10, someone broke into a 1997 white Ford Econoline E-350 parked and locked in front of the AMF bowling alley in the 12100 block of Kilarney Drive. Taken was a hog drill valued at $310, a chain saw valued at 100, a lineman's tool set valued at $1,700 and a Sawzall valued at $150. CFS 13-003742
