Vivian Reid Grove of Bealeton died on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Blue Ridge Christian Home in Bealeton.
She was born in Mount on Aug. 20, 1918, to the late Richard L. and Kate B. Reid. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Grove; a daughter, June Grove; a brother, Lester A. Reid; and a sister, Louise R. Pleasants.
Vivian was a member of Morrisville United Methodist Church. She and her husband owned and operated the Rosedale Farm in Bealeton since 1942 and were always active in the community.
The family appreciates the care given to Mrs. Grove by the Blue Ridge Christian Home.
She is survived by her children: stepson Warren Leighton Grove of Somerville; son Howard Lee Grove of Bealeton; and daughters Sharon Lynn McCamy of Sumerduck and Charlotte Grove Smith of Lovingston. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Marcie Grove, Susannah Grove, Karla Grove, Katherine McCamy, Jacob Grove, Lee Grove, Parker Smith and Casey Smith; and six great-grandchildren.
