Cheryl C. Lomax, 58, of Spotsylvania County succumbed to cancer in the early hours of Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.
Born in 1954 in Fredericksburg, she attended Walker-Grant High School before graduating from James Monroe High School. She was employed at North American Die Casting, Value City Furniture and in the computer room at CVS until her death.
Cheryl was a very kind and gentle soul with a loving and generous heart. She made everyone feel welcome and was always giving to others.
She was predeceased by her father, Anderson Ellis (Tact); and her sister, Linda Fauntleroy.
She leaves loving memories to be cherished by her husband of 38 years, Theodore; her daughters, Danielle Hatchell (George) and Alethia Walker (Gary); her grandchildren, Quron, Nia and Maliyah; her precious dog, Squirtles; her mother, Natalie; and her brother, Tommy.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg. A repast will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site), 525 Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg.
