Harold Paul Neale, 91, of Bealeton passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at his home.
He was born April 4, 1921, in Bealeton, a son of Wayland Dunaway Neale and Mary Virginia James Neale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fontaine Neale, in October 2012.
Harold Paul was a lifelong farmer, but had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps for four years. He was a member of the board of directors of the Fauquier Bank for 35 years, serving from 1971 until 2006. He was a longtime member of Bealeton Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and trustee. He was also a member of the former Morrisville-Bristersburg VFW Post. He will be remembered as an avid bird and turkey hunter and enjoyed football and baseball.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Teresa Neale of Bealeton; one sister, Janice Kehoe of Bealeton; two grandsons, Luke Neale and his wife, Kelsey, and Travis Neale, all of Bealeton; and two great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Elizabeth Neale.
