Margaret G. Griffis, 84, of Stafford County passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Woodmont Center.

Mrs. Griffis was a member of Falmouth Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include children Barbara Decatur and husband Russell and Raymond Griffis and wife Eleanor; grandchildren Stewart and Connie; great-grandchildren Jessica, Stewart Jr. and Jacob; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband George Warren Griffis; brothers Raymond and Harold Young; and sisters Frances Payne, Virginia Bradley, Marie Chilton and Rose Ryder.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Ebenezer Cemetery.
