Jack D. Cook, 75, of Caroline County passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at his home.
Jack was an active deacon at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cook; son Preston Cook and wife Rhonda; daughters Carol Hite and husband Chuck and April Anderson; brother Toney Cook and wife June; sister Verdine Rollyson and husband Tommy; brother-in-law John Eason; grandchildren Tiffany Hill and husband Jason, Trevor Hite, Dakota Anderson, Benjamin Anderson and Preston J. Cook; and great-grandson Trent Hill.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, with the service starting at 7 p.m.
Interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in Sutton Cemetery in Sutton, W.Va.
Memorials may be made in his name to Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 12500 Chewning Lane, Fredericksburg, Va. 22407.
