Ola Mae Mangold, 89, of King George County, widow of Carl Mangold, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. She went peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Shiloh.
Ola was born on a farm in Kentucky to a family with eight siblings. She moved to Indiana and met Carl through a brother. They married after World War II. Ola was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was lived for her Lord and family.
Ola is survived by her sons, Peter John Mangold and his wife, Kathleen, and Michael Andrew Mangold and his fiancee, Carol Hopkins; four grandchildren, Andrew Mangold and his wife, Cassie, Morgan Mangold and her fiance, Eugene Hamrick, Theresa Mangold and Brodie Mangold; and great-granddaughter Riley Mangold.
Ola was preceded in death by her firstborn, Thomas Mangold.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 31, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George, with a service beginning at noon.
Interment will follow in Historyland Memorial Park in King George.
