Raymond Charles Pelon II, 59, of King George County passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Pelon had worked as a computer specialist for industrial baking companies around the world. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Fairview Beach Yacht Club. He was a true outdoorsman who loved boating and fishing. He was a dog's best friend.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 32 years, Jane; sister Theresa Yagel (Donald); brother-in-law Robert Wolfe (Dolores); sisters-in-law Patricia Sgro (James) and Christina Thomas; nephews Adam (Erika) and Joshua Yagel; nieces Renee Weiler (Kevin), Lisa Beatson (David) and Darlene Knight (Roland); great-niece Alexandra; great-nephews Conner, Ryan and Nathan; and many other nieces and nephews; and beloved friend Joy Farrow.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Burial will be private.
