Animal abuse is animal abuse. Michael Vick is no different from the people who fox hunt. Neither activity is a sport, and both should be treated as a crime ["The hunt: Stop the cruelty of fox penning," Jan. 13].

Vick was sent to prison while the people who fox hunt aren't. Why? Money is the reason. Dogfighting is for the trash of our world. Fox hunting is for the moneyed set. Fox hunting should be outlawed, but it won't be.

Animal abuse is not protected by the Constitution.
