In a U.S. Department of Justice report of incarcerated felons, the following facts were made known:

Sixty-nine percent of all felons said that they used a gun to scare their victims.

Eighty-one percent stated they carried a gun under all circumstances.

Fifty-six percent stated that they would avoid a victim who is armed with a gun.

Fifty-nine percent stated that it would be "no problem at all" to obtain a gun.

Seventy-six percent stated that they stole their guns.

These figures are dated (1985), but were released by the Department of Justice where it is known as the "Wright-Rossi Report."
