Two teens arrested in Spotsy break-in

Two teenagers are facing charges in connection with a home burglary in Spotsylvania County.

According to Capt. Jeff Pearce of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office, a home in the Cedar Ridge Drive area was broken into on Sunday, and numerous guns were stolen.

Pearce said 14 firearms, which included hunting rifles and semiautomatic weapons, were among those reported missing.

Spotsylvania detectives were able to recover three of the firearms so far, he said.

The teens, ages 16 and 17, reside in the Fredericksburg area; they are charged with larceny of a residence and possession of stolen property. The case is under investigation.
