Gerrymandering not the way to win elections
The Virginia Senate moves to alter the electoral vote process and create a new district in Southside are not good for this state or for the nation.
Please read with a focused eye the following analysis from the University of Virginia's Larry Sabato: "Republican Electoral College Plan Would Undermine Democracy," available online.
If the GOP wants to win back Virginia, then policy and action are the routes, not gerrymandering.
