Ida Belle Johnson, 59, of Spotsylvania County, formerly of Orange County, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Johnson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved reading and cooking and admired Paula Dean; however, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Adam Richards (Heather); daughter Tamara Phelps (Wayne); brothers Robert Johnson and Chris Johnson; sisters Hope Marie Johnson and Betty Jean Hatfield; and four grandchildren, Alexander Eppard and Annabel, Madison and Michael Richards.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, South Atlantic Division Inc., 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va. 23060-9904.
