Michael Dennis McAdams, 67, of Fredericksburg passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Michael was born April 7, 1945, in Lafayette, Ind., to Bernard "Mac" and Mary McAdams. He married his wife, Gisela McAdams, in August 1975 and enjoyed a happy marriage of 38 years.

Michael is survived by his wife, Gisela (Apel) McAdams of Uptah, Germany; his son, Richard McAdams and his wife, Renee; stepdaughter Michella Henderson; stepson Michael Henderson and his wife, Jessica; and four grandchildren, Reagan, Gavin, Brittney, and Tyler.

Michael was employed by CSC, and had a career in computer programming and analysis. He enjoyed reading and fishing, and his most recent passion was becoming the Washington Nationals' No. 1 fan.
