Peter A. Nuccio, 89, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at VCU Medical Center in Richmond.
Mr. Nuccio, a World War II veteran, owned Terian Wood Products and was a partner in Roxbury Mills Farm and Garden Center. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. Mr. Nuccio was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Elks Lodge BPOE 875.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Susie Nuccio; stepchildren Danny Dunkle (Thea), Diane Nordstrom (Scott), Steve Dunkle (Carrol) and Julie Knight (Butch); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marion Nuccio; and his brother, Vincent Nuccio and his wife, Rose.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorials Processing Center, Box 5216, Glen Allen, Va. 23058.
