William Franklin Ford "Billy" Schooler, 88, of Stafford County passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mr. Schooler worked at Silvey Chevrolet and retired as the service manager at Pohanka. He was in the automotive business for almost 50 years. He was a Navy veteran and served during World War II and the Korean War. He met the love of his life, Dorothy Wallace Schooler, in Norfolk.
Survivors include his daughter, Gail Robin Farmer of Fredericksburg; grandchildren Robin Michelle Farmer of Fredericksburg and Ronald Edward Farmer Jr. of Richmond; niece Billie Toombs of Fredericksburg; and three cousins, Lauman and Ben Schooler and Florence Rodgers, all of Fredericksburg.
He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy; his parents, William Franklin and Sarah Virginia Colvin Schooler; and sister Jean S. Stewart.
