Kathy M. Richards, 60, went to be with the Lord where her family awaits her, following a lengthy illness of COPD.
She was a resident of Caroline County for 22 years. She did drywall work and worked at The Free Lance-Star.
She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Patterson; a son, Edgar Lee Adams; three grandsons, Channing Patterson, Levi Patterson and Justin Adams; two sisters, Barbara Leonard and Pat Moon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Leonard and George Washington Leonard.
The family thanks the staff of Bowling Green Rehabilitation Center for their great hospitality during Kathy's stay at the nursing home and the care given at the time of her passing.
