Milton Jones, 81, of Spotsylvania County passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Bowling Green Healthcare Center.
Milton was born in Caroline County to the late Robert Louis Jones and Nancy Elizabeth Trent Jones. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, and had retired from the federal government.
He is survived by three brothers, William Jones Sr. of Cedon, Morris Jones of Washington, D.C., and Cecil Jones Sr. (Annie) of Spotsylvania; two sisters, Katherin Daniel and Frances Morgan, both of Spotsylvania; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home.
A service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Zackary Williams, pastor, delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in Mount Lawn Cemetery.
