Richard Lee Poole, 64, of Fredericksburg died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at home.

Mr. Poole was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his children, Eli Poole, Grace Poole and Albert Poole; brother Michael Poole; sister Patricia Poole; and granddaughter Zoe Naomi Anne Poole.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet Poole; and brother Daniel Poole.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A Mass of Christian celebration will be held at noon Friday, Feb. 22, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fredericksburg Dog Park, Fredericksburg Parks & Recreation, 408 Canal St., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.
