Marie M. Toy, 81, of Stafford County passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Heritage Hall in King George County.

Marie was born in Philadelphia on April 5, 1931, to John and Mary Hamer Scanlon.

She is survived by a son, Leonard H. Toy (Lori); a daughter, Victoria Deatherage (Raymond); five grandchildren, Eric Toy, Elise Toy, Melissa Deatherage, Richard Deatherage and Thomas Deatherage; one great-grandchild, Elias Toy; and a brother, Thomas Scanlon.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at St. William of York Catholic Church in Stafford. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
