Charlie Ryland "Frog" Harvey, 79, of St. Stephens Church departed this life Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Susie B. Harvey; three daughters, Connie, Susie and Bessie; six sons, Gwarthney, Larry, Walker, Charlie, Casey and Spence; two sisters, Rosa Newbill and Annie Thompson; and one brother, John Harvey.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock, and from 6 to 8 p.m. at First Mount Olive Baptist Church, Newtown, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, with the Rev. Drucilla Tate officiating and the Rev. Robert D. Brown as eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
