Rita Ada White, 87, of King George County went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013.
She was born in Newburg, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Agnes Corscardi; and her only sister, Lucia Cypert.
Mrs. White is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ernest; her only son, Vincent and his wife, Valerie; and three grandchildren, Benjamin, Daniel and Elizabeth White, all of King George.
She was a lifetime member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, King George. She took her job as a homemaker for more than 55 years very seriously.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A funeral will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 23, at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
