Harry M. Beazley Jr.

Harry Murdock Beazley Jr., 83, formerly of Caroline County, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, in the presence of his sister and two nieces at Hunterwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Mr. Beazley was born Sept. 12, 1929, in Upper Zion, which is part of what is now Fort A.P. Hill. Harry "Jr." was a beloved brother and uncle, who lived most of his life as a farmer in Caroline County, but spent the last 14 years in Charlotte, N.C. He never married or had children of his own, but he enjoyed his nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and more recently, delighted in the company of his great-great-niece and nephew, who live in Charlotte.

He was loved for 83 years here on earth, and will continue to be loved on for eternity in the company of his Savior. Uncle Jr. will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his sister, Thelma Kaitbenski of Southbridge, Mass.; four nieces, Janet Atwell of Charlotte, Rosemary Wilcox of Fredericksburg, Donna Weaver of Woodstock, Conn., and Elizabeth Johnson of Texas; and two nephews, Dennis Roberts of Woodford and Stephen Kaitbenski of Southbridge, Mass.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Murdock Beazley Sr.; his mother, Leola Hall Beazley; and two sisters, Matilda Foor and Louise Johnson.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with the Rev. Randy Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
