Albert Cornelius Symes, 20, of Stafford County died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Stafford Hospital.
Mr. Symes was a graduate of North Stafford High School and a student at NVCC. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Emily Symes; his paternal grandmother, Sybil Symes; his maternal grandmother, Marina Marquez; his brothers, Mark Anthony Marquez and Alexander Phillip Symes; his aunts, Samantha Dio Dati, Michelle McNiel, Marissa Byrne, Ofelia Manalang, Amelia Marquez, Renalda Marquez and Rosalinda Marquez; his uncles, Everton McNiel, Raymundo Marquez, William Byrne and Mark Dio Dati; his nieces, Ailanna Marquez and Emilena Marquez; his cousins, Dwayne McNiel, Allycia McNiel, Amanda McNiel, Deanna McNiel, Aliyah McNiel, Destiny McNeil, Jaeda Prokop, Vanessa Byrne, Daniel Dio Dati and David Dio Dati; and many other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 4, at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
