A couple of years ago, the editor published a letter from me offering to help clean up the overgrown and littered Slavery Museum garden. Now I read that an eighth-grade student did what I, an adult, should have done ["Teen's school project: Clear an unruly garden," Feb. 27]. Instead of "offering" to help, Mekayla Walter did the job.
