Carol E. Buckson-Valdez, 47, of Stafford County died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.

She was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include her brother, William C. Buckson and wife Connie; niece Catherine McCoy; special friend Danita Del Toro; and numerous other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, at Fredericksburg Wesleyan Church, 130 Mosby St., Fredericksburg, Va. 22408.
