Stephanie A. Digges

Stephanie Allyn "Stevi" Digges, 61, of Spotsylvania County went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013.

She was born in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 21, 1951, the daughter of the late H. Allen and Shirley Rohrback Digges.

Stevi had worked in the medical industry as a computer systems analyst. She loved animals, listening to classical music and watching football. Her love of history and spirituality was expressed though her involvement with Job's Daughters, family genealogy and her Episcopalian beliefs.

Stevi is survived by her husband of 26 years, Edwin L. Cox; brother Brian Dudley Digges of New Market; father-in-law Dave Grolemund of Renovo, Pa.; brother-in-law Steve Cox of Greenbelt, Md.; sister-in-law Saundra Dudley of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; nieces Christine Digges-Tibbs and husband Billy Tibbs Jr. of Fredericksburg, Jennifer L. Digges of New Haven, Conn., and Melissa C. Williams and husband Charles of Sterling. Also surviving are several great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and many dear friends, including two devoted friends, Maggie Vieth and Sherri Jones.

The family thanks Shirley and many other dedicated medical personnel for making Stevi feel cared for and special.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. A second visitation will be held Friday, March 8, one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in National Memorial Park in Falls Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stevi's name to the American Cancer Society, Box 1095, Warrenton, Va. 20188; or to the Spotsylvania SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, Va. 22408.
