Elsie Frances Wiltshire, 90, of Suffolk died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Autumn Care in Suffolk.

Elsie, the daughter of the late Henry O'Shea Wiltshire and Deborah Davis, was born in Orange County on Aug. 19, 1922, the first of six children.

She married Junius E. "Dick" Wiltshire in 1942. He was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, and they settled in Chesapeake, remaining there until his death in 2007.

Elsie was a longtime employee of Sears. After her retirement from the children's department, she devoted her time to her crafts, crocheting, quilting and collecting antiques.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Frances Wiltshire of Onancock; sister Brenda Burkholder, brother-in-law James L. Wiltshire, and sisters-in-law Bettie W. Wiltshire and Marian W. Wiltshire, all of Fredericksburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Peyton Wiltshire will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, contributions maybe made to a charity of choice.
