Pedestrians downtown: The equation is simple
Ever since the "watch for pedestrians" sign was removed from the crosswalk by the library headquarters, cars have been blazing through. The sign may be gone but the crosswalk is still there, and I don't understand why no one stops. Cars will swerve into other lanes to avoid hitting me, rather than stopping for two seconds.
Are drivers so rude or clueless that they need it written out for them? White lines on street = a crosswalk. Person at crosswalk = stop for them.
