Many Senate Democrats and most of the news media follow like fawning sheep along Obama's deceptive and destructive pathway. Neither of Virginia's senators has questioned any of his decisions or appointments; both are neglecting their senatorial responsibilities. What they have done demonstrates their subservience to his thinking and their wishes for our nation to become what he wills it to be. Their enabling complicity is disgraceful.

How long before they proclaim Obama emperor and demand the building of his temple as a public works project? For the holy site to reflect his grandeur, may I suggest a mountaintop in Colorado where the smoke of cannabis can waft upward through the temple air shafts like incense. A pictorial summary of his greatest exploits can be portrayed in a limestone to commemorate the gratitude of the people. A shaft, drilled before the alter and to the center of the Earth, could serve to receive the tithes and offerings of future generations. The news media will insist on a queen's chamber for Obama's successor, to be located at the base of the temple in keeping with Egyptian tradition.

Special places on the Temple of Obama should be reserved for Virginia Sens. Warner and Kaine--perhaps two cornices. A third cornice has been earned by The Free Lance-Star for its obsequious reporting on these two do-nothings.
