Thomas C. Lee, 88, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.

Mr. Lee was employed at FMC for 30 years and retired from J.L. Kent & Sons after 18 years of service.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Joyce J. Lee.

He is survived by his children, Wilbur Lee and Patty Williams of Locust Grove, Wesley Lee and wife Karen, of Waynesboro, Kevin Lee and wife Mary Jean, of Fredericksburg, Keith Lee and Dauna Bell, and her daughter, Taylor Bell, all of Sandston, Annette L. Bentz and husband Mark, of Mount Sidney, and Jason Lee and Susan Beavers, of Glen Allen.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, Andrea Brevard and her husband, Kenny, of Midlothian, Jansen Lee of Waynesboro, Christopher Lee and Dawn Epperson, of Spotsylvania County, Zachary Lee and wife Rachael, of Virginia Beach, and George Lee and wife Irina, of Unionville; three stepgrandchildren, MiKaela Olsen and husband Eric, of Clarksville, Md., Melissa Seago and husband John, of Virginia Beach, and Mitch Kenfield and wife Jessica, of Alpharetta, Ga.; three great-grandchildren; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Merritt of Kennewick, Wash., and Mrs. Virginia Cox of Goldvein; two brothers, Gordon Briscoe Lee and wife Eleanor, of Front Royal, Clinton Lee and wife Jean, of Manassas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sumerduck Baptist Church cemetery.
