Otis "Mudhole" Garnett Childress, 74, of Stafford County passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mr. Childress was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Backwoods Hunt Club.
Survivors include his companion, Barbara Ann Brooks; son Anthony Childress; two grandchildren; brother Ronald Childress; and sister Janet Bell. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Marie Childress.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
Memorial donations may be made to the Backwoods Hunt Club, 406 Richards Ferry Road, Fredericksburg, Va. 22406; or to a charity of one's choice.
