James Jacob Gallahan Jr, 60, of King George County passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two children, Dana Gallahan and wife Pamila and Shannon Hamm and husband Marqis; three sisters, Cindy Williamson, Amelia Graninger and Celia Payne; six grandchildren, Dana Gallahan Jr., Macalla Gallahan, Candice Hodge, Robby Pierce, Courtney Hodge and Whitney Hamm; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
