Michael J. Rich, 59, of King George County passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Sentara Hospital in Norfolk.
He is survived by daughter Latoya Johnson; son Billy "Pete" Shanklin; two grandchildren; father Pat Rich and stepmother Linda Rich of Colonial Beach; three brothers, Hardie Rich (Pam) of King George; Andrew Rich (Erma) of Virginia Beach and Patrick Rich of Colonial Beach; and a sister, Angela Tate (Eric) of Colonial Beach.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Salem Baptist Church in King George, where a service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 23, with the Rev. Leonard G. Bland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
