John Simborski

John Simborski, 69, of Stafford County passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, doing what he loved the most, playing golf with a great friend in North Carolina.

John had a passion for golfing, boating, fishing, cooking and discussing his latest secret recipe or household tip. Always the teacher, John loved to tell a story, as he was very knowledgeable in many things. He especially loved teaching all his grandchildren about fishing and boating. John was a very generous soul and always willing to help those in need. John was a longtime resident of Aquia Harbour and very active in the community.

He leaves behind two sisters, Josephine Sherman and Barbara Womsley; a brother, Tony Simborski; as well as his wife, Barbara Simborski; his two daughters, Ashley Billingsley and Stephanie Hart; son-in-law Brad Billingsley; stepchildren Laura Anderson-Paige and husband John Paige and Ted Hupka and wife Anne Hupka; his grandchildren, Kailey, Dustin, Christopher, Sean, Britney and Sklar; and his stepgrandchildren, Jamie, Tyler, Brian, Nick, Bradley, Teddy and Bella.

He will be missed by so many people for so many reasons; he has left a piece of himself with all of us.

There will be a memorial service celebrating his life at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 161 Embrey Mill Road, Stafford, Va. 22554.
