Stanley R. Clark

Stanley Ray Clark, 82, of Fredericksburg died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at home.

Mr. Clark was born in Gulfport, Miss., on Oct. 6, 1930. He served on active duty in the Marine Corps from 1948 to 1952. Mr. Clark worked as a ranger for the National Park Service for 35 years. After retiring from the park service he received his Master of Science degree.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ann Clark of Fredericksburg; son Malcolm D. Clark of King George County and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Clark of Chesterfield County; two daughters, Terri Chauvin and husband Keith of Lawrence, Kan., and Marcia Riner and husband Gary of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother Robert Clark of Gulfport; and five grandchildren, Kelli McBride and husband Lt. Alvin McBride of Fredericksburg, Kyle Chauvin of Princeton, N.J., Katie Chauvin of Santa Clara, Calif., Dena Riner of Knoxville and Travis Riner of Knoxville.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, Aug. 23, at Quantico National Cemetery.
