I think that even Hillary Clinton can now realize the answer to her question: "What difference at this point does it make?"
The difference is that the American people have lost trust in our government. We saw our government, led by President Obama, tell blatant lies about the attack in Libya.
The American people have endured an inept administration with foreign policy failures that just keep piling on top of each other. The list is long and unbroken. If the Obama administration has had a single "success," it's in losing all credibility with the American people. They flounder around like the Keystone Cops, but there isn't anything funny about it. It is sorrowful and tragic.
Now these same inept "leaders" want us to follow them to an act of war with Syria. Obama is worried that he will lose credibility with the world if we don't follow him down the rabbit hole.
I guess he is worried about his credibility in the world, but it's long gone here in the U.S., so there's no need to worry about that. I know that I wouldn't follow such a wishy-washy leader across the street, much less to war. I don't trust him as a man and certainly don't trust his ability to lead us into conflict with Syria.
I could never ask any young man or woman to go to war with Obama in charge. He lies often and never accepts responsibility for anything. It's beyond horrible, the suffering and death that the Syrian people have suffered.
However, it would be foolhardy to attack Syria on this administration's assurances and so-called guarantees. They have no credibility at this point.
So, Hillary, the answer as to "what difference does it make" is that when the time comes that you might be telling the truth about the dire need to go to war, we won't go. That's what difference it makes!
