Those of us who live in the Falmouth District have an opportunity to alter the makeup of the Stafford Board of Supervisors. Six of the seven members are Republicans.
Valerie Setzer, a Democrat, is the one candidate in Falmouth who represents a different point of view. She is recommended by the Stafford Education Association PAC because of her views on dealing with public education.
The current per-pupil budget contribution by the county is 22 percent below the state average. Neither the current Board of Supervisors nor the School Board seem to be interested in addressing that issue as well as a host of others, including the overcrowding at our high schools.

The citizens of Stafford need a different outlook, a different set of eyes, on the Board of Supervisors. Those of us in Falmouth can help make that happen by voting for and electing Valerie Setzer.
