Mildred Blondina Titchenell, 91, of Rhodesville passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
Born in Marion County, W.Va., on Feb. 6, 1922, to Harold B. Moran and Tressie Rogers Moran, Mrs. Titchenell was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and crafting, making such items as hand-dipped candles and pinecone wreaths. She was also known for her homemade Christmas candy. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving are her children Sue Titchenell of Rhodesville, Michael D. Titchenell and wife Sandra, and Bob Titchenell, all of Culpeper; daughter-in-law Patricia Titchenell of Dale City, her two sons, Tim Strawser and his wife Nikki, and Chuck Strawser, and Patricia's daughter Nitta Ficca; sister Lucretia Miller of Mannington, W.Va.; sister-in-law Virginia Moran of Mannington, W.Va.; grandchildren Jeffrey Titchenell, Angela L. Keys and Christopher M. Titchenell; step-grandchildren Julie Provencal, Bonnie Olson and Jenny Payne; three great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Les Titchenell; brothers Delbert Moran and Rolf Moran; and sister Grace Moran.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper.
