Boydton leaves to cherish his memory, life and legacy one son, Boydton S. Brooks Jr. (B.J.) and daughter in-law Jessica Brooks of Ruther Glen; two daughters, Brielle and Brizen Glasco of Fredericksburg; one sister, Wanda A. Brooks of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Michael L. Brooks of Fredericksburg and Ronnie S. Brooks of King George; three grandchildren Zacaari and Layla Brooks and Niah Noel all of Ruther Glen; one uncle, Thurman Brooks (Marsha) of Fredericksburg; aunts Joyce Harrison (Alfred), Carolyn Harvey and Shirley Whiting, all of King George; five nieces, Valerie Daniels (Victor), Whitney S. Brooks, Evonte' J. Winn, Caitlin D. Winn and Davinia Byrd; a very special and dear cousin who was like a brother, Duane Harrison (Imy); a host of additional relatives, friends and the Culpeper Juvenile Correctional Center family; a special girlfriend, Doloicei Leggett; and his former wife and forever friend, the Rev. Sandy Brooks, who was blessed to be with him at the time of his transition from labor to reward.

Boydton loved and adored spending time with his grandchildren and will be missed by so many people both far and near.

A public viewing was held on Saturday, Feb. 1, at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home.

A homegoing celebration of life will take place at Antioch Baptist Church, 11102 James Madison Parkway, King George, VA 22485, on Sunday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Larry Finch, pastor, will officiate and the Rev. Lester F. Harvey will give the eulogy.

Burial will follow immediately in the church cemetery.
