Florence M. Edgington

Florence Margaret Edgington, 75, of Mineral passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at The University of Virginia Medical Center.

Mrs. Edgington retired as a program analyst for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, Sedona Chapter.

Survivors include her husband, James "Jim" Edgington; sons Stephan Lomont (Janet) of Vienna, Michael Lomont (Nancy) of Sagaponack, N.Y., and Bill Edgington (Kristin) of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughters Deborah Fleegal and Julianna Houk (John), both of Falls Church, Robin Mcferson (Robert) of Adamsville, Tenn., and Michelle Draney (Patrick) of LaLuz, N.M.; brother Joseph Buckley (Linda) of Catlett: sisters Mary Ellen Cushard (Bill) of Henderson, Nev., and Anne Windsor (Ed) of Federalsburg, Md.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Buckley, and brother Tony Buckley.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at 23 Fir Court, The Waters at Lake Anna in Mineral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Louisa County Humane Society, Box 1837, Louisa, VA 23093.
