Elinor Frances Dickinson, 89, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Ms. Dickinson was a member of Hartwood Presbyterian Church. She had retired from the Virginia Cooperative Extension after 42 years of service. She was a longtime board member of the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair.
Survivors include a brother, Curtis M. Dickinson and wife Nancy of Urbanna; niece Kelly Dickinson Vincent and husband Martin of Evansville, Ind.; four nephews, Carl M. Dickinson and wife Janice of Spotsylvania County, D. Dale Dickinson and wife Phyllis of Stafford County, John C. Dickinson and wife Wendy of Richmond and Laurence M. Dickinson and wife Helen of Richmond; and great-nephews and -nieces Cullen Vincent, Tanner Vincent, Maggie Vincent, Keller Vincent, Hillary Dickinson, Anne Marie Dickinson, Clair Dickinson, Robbie Dickinson and Sherrie Dickinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl V. and Fannie Bradshaw Dickinson; a brother, Carl B. Dickinson, and a very special friend, Ernest C. Stone.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

Pallbearers will be John Dickinson, Laurence Dickinson, Robbie Dickinson, J.D. Dickinson, Sandy Helms and Walter Embrey.
