I commend CVS for planning to discontinue the sale of tobacco products.
I've heard some complaints about the decision. Those who have complained don't realize that a business can choose what to sell or what not to sell.
Some people, in discussing the legalization of the sale of marijuana--which has been successful in a few states--describe it as less addictive than alcohol or tobacco. The operative word is "addictive." We don't need another addictive substance via the open market.
I hope our legislators will think long and hard.
