Dakota C. Brooks

Dakota Carrington Brooks, 20, of Stafford County went home to be with the Lord, earlier than any of us ever expected, on Sunday, March 16, 2014.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Brooks; grandmother Barbara Flack; his beloved cat, Bagerra; and his dog, Chloe, all of Stafford; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Flack of Stafford.

He was a 2011 graduate of Stafford High School. Dakota loved and cherished his family and friends and was able to make them all laugh. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. His favorite colors were purple and green, and he loved music, dancing, cars, designing his own tattoos and hanging out with his buds. He hated yard work.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Grace United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any of his friends who have photos, selfies or videos of Dakota, or have favorite memories or moments that you have shared with Dakota, please make a copy for the family, or email them to polar1
Email: mom@yahoo.com. The family would greatly appreciate it.
