In the "Women Speak For Themselves" amicus brief in the Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Wood cases, the government claims to be "pro-woman."
I believe this is wrongly stated. This government is pro-childless women. They imply that only then should women achieve social and economic equality with men.
Why should the government not support equal and even favorable opportunities for mothers? After all, our most precious natural resource is new human life, especially when nurtured by loving and caring mothers in a traditional marriage/family setting. These are the children on whom our future rests.
