Pamela Lynn O'Shea, 56, of Rhoadesville passed away after a long battle with cancer, with her family by her side.
Pamela was born on Oct. 29, 1957, worked in finance for the Department of Defense at Cameron Station and then Patuxent River NAS before becoming a full-time wife and mother. Before becoming ill, she worked briefly at Walmart in Orange County. Pam was a great mother; she lived her life for her children, who meant everything to her.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, John; beloved daughter, Ryanne; and beloved son, John, all of Rhoadesville; stepdaughter Kathy Brooks and husband Steve; grandsons Steven, Michael and Joshua, all of Margo; and her mother, JoAnne Crigler, of Seattle, Wash. She also leaves two sisters, Valerie McCoid of Seattle and Kathryn Fantasia, her husband, Kenny, and their children, John, Colleen and Stephanie, whom she helped raise, all of Annapolis, Md.; a brother, Richard McCoid and wife Martha, of Stephens City; brother-in-law James O'Shea and wife Etta of Gettysburg, Pa.; and sister-in-law Eileen Dickerson, of Hurley, Miss. Survivors also include numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her pet dogs Belle, Cash and Buddy.
Pamela was preceded in death by a brother, Micheal McCoid.

A visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, both at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Unionville.
